Petra Ferron is an experienced educator and ACT coach with 17 years of teaching experience across Jamaica and the United States. She taught in Jamaica for 13 years before migrating to the United States, where she continued her career in education for an additional four years.
Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her commitment to student achievement and instructional excellence, earning multiple awards, including Teacher of the Year for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Her academic background includes a Diploma in Teaching English and History, a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist add-on. This combination of classroom experience, literacy expertise, and student support training allows her to provide ACT instruction that is strategic, research-based, and responsive to individual student needs.
Through ACT Right Test Prep, she brings together years of teaching experience and proven instructional practices.
